How much is lunch?

Preschool: Snacks and lunch are included in your child’s tuition

Elementary: $5.25 (hot lunch includes milk or water, fruit and veggie side)

Middle School: Lunch is a la carte — pricing on items varies by selection

High School: Break and Lunch are a la carte — pricing on items varies by selection

How do I pay for lunch?

Preschool: Snacks and lunch are included in your child’s tuition

Elementary, Middle School, and High School: Families add money to their cafeteria prepay account in their FACTS Family Portal

What if a student forgets their lunch?

Preschool: Families can drop off the lunch in the preschool main office or families can communicate directly with the classroom teacher or preschool office about signing up their child for lunch

Elementary: Families can drop off the lunch in the main office or students can sign up for hot lunch with their classroom teacher

Middle School and High School: Families can drop off lunch for their student or students can have access to any items in The Talon

My child has a food allergy, what should I do?

If your child has a specific food allergy, please complete a Food Allergy Action Plan so that the staff will know how to react in the event of an allergic reaction. Also, please inform your child's teacher of the allergy. We would also recommend that you send your child lunch from home if there are major concerns. The Food Allergy Action Plans can be obtained from the main office at Aurora Christian.

Are there volunteer opportunities in the kitchen?

Yes! Please contact Mrs. Mayra Johnson at mayra.johnson@aurorachristian.org to schedule time to volunteer. You can also be set up on a weekly or monthly basis.

What are some tasks volunteers do?

Volunteers are a great help to the kitchen team. Tasks include: produce prep (cutting all vegetables and fruit for the week), helping at the dishwasher, restocking, sweeping and mopping at the end of the day, getting trays ready for lunch items, helping serve lunch, and helping prep for the next day’s lunch.
