Science 6  BJU Press
This course provides a comprehensive overview of Earth Science from a Christian worldview. Students will explore the Earth’s crust, the diversity of life it supports, and the classification of plants and animals. The curriculum includes an introductory study of chemistry, focusing on the atom as the fundamental building block of matter. The course concludes with an examination of the solar system and stars, highlighting the order and complexity of God’s creation.

Seventh Grade Science is a comprehensive study of Life Science presented from a Christian worldview. Throughout the course, students explore the characteristics, structure, and processes of living organisms while examining scientific evidence through the lens of a divinely created world. Instruction includes hands-on laboratory investigations, collaborative projects, group activities, and a guided frog dissection to reinforce key biological concepts. Students develop a deeper understanding of living systems, including cellular structure and function, as well as foundational principles of genetics. This course is designed to strengthen scientific literacy, cultivate critical thinking skills, and provide a solid introduction to biology, effectively preparing students for high school–level science coursework.

8th grade Science is the study of Physical Science. This allows the student to learn, study, and experience everything relating to the fields of Chemistry and Physics from a Christian worldview. The objective is to increase students’ knowledge about science at the atomic level and how atoms work and to learn the basics of mechanics, simple machines, thermodynamics, waves and the laws by which our universe operates. All 8th grade students are expected to take place in the school Science Fair.
