Mrs. Heather Christensen graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Elementary Education and Bible. She taught at a Christian school in Yorkville for four years before choosing to stay home with her three children. There she taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grade. She has three elementary-aged daughters who all attend Aurora Christian. When not in the classroom, Mrs. Christensen loves spending time outdoors, particularly bike riding and playing tennis or pickle ball with her husband and girls. She is very involved at her church, Village Bible Church Aurora, and she enjoys serving on the children's ministry team there. Mrs. Christensen loves the energy and enthusiasm that comes with teaching upper-elementary students!
