Favorite Bible Verse:
“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. “ - James 1:1-7

What inspired you to be a teacher?
“Growing up, I had several teachers who impacted my life in a positive way, and as an educator I wanted to have that same impact in the lives of my students.  I love the process of leading and guiding people in the acquisition of knowledge.  Teaching and working in education has blessed me with the opportunity to have a front row seat in watching students mature into all that God has created them to be.  What a blessing!”

Favorite Bible Verse:
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Hobbies:
“I love anything that allows me to take something old and give it new life.  Over the years, I have refinished old furniture, homes, and things others would find to be junk.  In many ways, it reflects the work God has done in my life, taking something broken and making it new through the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. ”

Favorite Bible Verse:
“My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments; For length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and a good [b]reputation In the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your [c]body And refreshment to your bones. Honor the Lord from your wealth, And from the first of all your produce; Then your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. My son, do not reject the [d]discipline of the Lord Or loathe His rebuke, For whom the Lord loves He disciplines, Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.”  Proverbs 3:1-12
