Mr. Michael Cobb joined the Aurora Christian School faculty in 2016 and currently serves as a High School Physical Education and Health teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from North Park University.
Before entering education, Mr. Cobb worked in the fitness industry as an Athletic Development Personal Trainer, helping individuals of all ages develop healthy lifestyles and achieve their wellness goals. His background in exercise science and fitness continues to shape his approach to physical education, where he seeks to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary for lifelong health and wellness.
Mr. Cobb is passionate about helping students grow physically, mentally, and spiritually while discovering activities they can enjoy throughout their lives. He believes that physical education plays a vital role in developing the whole person and preparing students to live healthy, active, and Christ-centered lives.
Mr. Cobb and his wife, Melissa, live in Oswego with their daughters, Evelyn and Cecelia.
