Monique Arevalo brings over a decade of experience in education, including 10 years in preschool, to her role as a 5th grade teacher at ACS. She holds an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Walden University.
She and her husband have three children, all who attend ACS.
What inspired you to be a Teacher?
“I have a deep desire to shape young minds, create lasting impact, and foster a love for learning. I absolutely love to build relationships, instill values, and help students navigate the world with confidence and curiosity. Christian education provides a space where faith and learning intertwine. It encourages deep reflection, character development, and a strong sense of purpose.”

Hobbies:
Spending time with family, reading, and bike riding.
